2023 Acme Cleanup Fund Drive (11/2023)

The Acme Working Group has started the next phase of cleanup at the former Acme Power Plant. The cost of this phase is $1,202,000 with 90% covered by federal grants that require $117,000 in matching funds. Approximately 65% of the required match has already been secured.

Please respect fences and adjacent landowners by not attempting to enter the site. Anyone accessing the site (legally and illegal trespassers) has the potential to track contaminants to surrounding areas and/or injure themselves amid the debris.
